HOW STEMWAVE WORKS

Stemwave is a focused extracorporeal shockwave (ESWT) unit that generates high-energy true shockwaves that stimulate the body’s natural healing response on the cellular level. Stemwave is focused and specific so we can locate the areas of intensity, inflammation, and/or injured tissue that we are targeting to treat. Research has shown ESWT to help decrease pain, decrease inflammation, improve mobility, and promote the healing and regenerative process.

HOW STEMWAVE IS DIFFERENT

Stemwave’s Focused Extracorporeal Shockwave Unit stands out from other products on the market. It utilizes mechanotransduction, where shockwaves convert mechanical stimuli into biochemical changes within cells, reducing pain and inflammation while promoting the healing process.

STEMWAVE

  • Utilizes focused shockwaves generated by an electro-hydraulic mechanism, producing high-energy pulses that penetrate deep tissues.
  • Delivers high-intensity shockwaves, effective for deeper tissue regeneration and pain relief.
  • Effective at greater depths, targeting conditions such as tendon injuries and joint pain.

RADIAL PULSE

  • Generates low-energy radial pressure waves that disperse as they travel into the body, primarily affecting superficial tissues.
  • Lower intensity, more suitable for treating superficial conditions and muscle tension.
  • Effective for surface-level issues like myofascial pain.

ULTRASOUND

  • Generates thermal effects within the tissues.
  • Focuses on thermal effects and tissue healing.
  • Limited on depth penetration.
